Would you like to improve your swim stroke and participate on a swim team?
Come be a part of the Pleasant Grove Summer Swim Program! It is a great opportunity to be involved in a fun learning atmosphere. We focus on sportsmanship, endurance, and goal achievement. Program size is limited so sign up early. If this is your first year, you will need to attend the Tryouts that will be announced at a later date. Participants MUST be able to pass the swim test (tryout) in order to continue in the program. Those that do not pass will be refunded their fee. Please see the information below about tryouts. Registration will be done online.
Cost
Residents: $105
Non-Residents: $125
Tryouts
If your swimmer was not on the team for the 2023 swim season they will need to try out for our 2024 season.
TRYOUTS: TBD
Swimmers 6-10 must be proficient, and able to swim 25 yards in two of the four competitive swim strokes.
Swimmers 11+ must be proficient, and able to swim 50 yards in all 4 competitive swim strokes.
Strokes include Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly. All ages must be able to work and follow directions in a group. All others should sign up for swimming lessons until proficiency is acquired. Additional requirements may also be included at the discretion of the coaches.

Open registration for all others: TBD - 9:00am-Until Filled (Online only)
Swim program size is limited so sign up on time. Returning swim team members must register as well.

ONLY PG Residents can register on first day of sign ups. Please make sure you sign your child up in the correct age group!
Shirts and Hoodies can also be purchased at the time of registration and will not be included in the registration fee listed above.

The Swim Program will begin TBD and will conclude at the end of July.
Parent/Team Meeting
Our parent meeting is scheduled to be in June before the swim team season at Pleasant Grove Rec Center.

"Our swim team is able to keep costs low by running our swim meets and other activities with volunteers. By signing up your child for swim team, you agree that you will sign-up and complete volunteer hours for your child to participate on the swim team."
