POOL CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT

We regret to announce that the Pleasant Grove Veterans Memorial Pool will be closed for the upcoming 2024 summer season due to essential renovations and improvements. Despite our efforts to keep the facility open, the scope of the necessary repairs has expanded beyond our initial estimates. Combined with challenges related to winter weather and contractor scheduling, we must undertake these renovations during the summer months. 

The Veterans Memorial Pool, a cherished community asset for nearly three decades, requires significant updates. This renovation project will address structural issues such as the settling of the pool, update the aging mechanical systems, and completely replacing the pool deck. These improvements are critical to meet and exceed current health and safety standards and ensure the facility's longevity. 

We understand the value of the pool to our community and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this closure may cause. We are committed to keeping you informed and will share regular updates on the progress of the renovations. Our goal is to reopen the pool as a top-tier facility for family and community enjoyment for many more years to come.
