Medieval Jousting Tournament with crafts, activities and demonstrations of all sorts. Foam sword battles sponsored by BB Battles! Children's Summer Reading participants and their families are invited. Held at the Veteran's Memorial Park.

1,000 Books Celebration: Old McDonald Had a Farm

Children ages birth to 5 yrs., and their families, are invited for games, learning activities and a petting zoo from Taylor's Traveling Troupe! 1,000 Book program finishers will be honored. Join us for fun, fun here and fun, fun there!

Held Fridays at 10:30 a.m., this class is perfect for the native or non-native Spanish speakers, or for those who want exposure to the language.

Twilight Tales

Every Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. Kammi hosts a wonderful weekly story time for the whole family. All ages and pajamas welcome! The mission of Twilight Tales story time is to bring families together in a shared love for books and reading, and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in which that love of literature can be fostered.

 

Great Reads for Girls

Taking a break until September

A book club for girls ages 8-14 and a caring adult. Read great books together, then meet as a group for a fun discussion, activities and refreshments all based on the book! Great Reads meets the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Great Reads for Girls Booklist 

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Young children begin the process of learning to read long before  they start school. The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program is designed to celebrate early learning and the fun of sharing stories.
