The Enchanted Uinta Forest

Learn about the forest that's in your own backyard. The PG Forest Station and Smokey the Bear will be coming, Tues., April 4 at 10:00 a.m. in the program room. Take and Makes, Monday - Friday in the downstairs foyer. Geared for children ages 3-9

Play and Learn

A self-guided interactive playtime allows you to use a variety of educational toys to play with your child. You are welcome to stay the whole time or leave whenever you'd like. An adult must accompany children.

Saturday Morning Movie

Free family-friendly movies for kids. In April the library will be showing A Bug's Life Rated G. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Treats are welcome. Bring a camp chair, blanket, or pillow for comfortable seating.

Cover to Cover Reading Incentive Program

Kids, aged 4 through 12 can register for the Pleasant Grove Library’s “Cover to Cover” Reading Program and receive free food from In-N-Out Burger. 15 books earns 3 hamburgers.

A book club for kids ages 8-14. The book this month is The Same Stuff as Stars by Katherine Paterson. A limited number of copies are available at the desk.

Ongoing Events

Rhythm and Song

Music, instruments, and movement are packed into a fun 30 minute class. For children ages 3-6. Classes are held Mondays at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Preschool Story Time

Join storytellers for stories, songs, puppets and more! Held Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. Geared for children ages 3-6. 

Wee Read

Toddler story time includes stories, puppets, rhymes and more! A fun time geared especially for children ages 18 months to 3 years. This class is held on Thursdays at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m., and lasts roughly 20 minutes, with time after for parents to read with their little ones.

Spanish Story Time

Held Fridays at 10:30 a.m., this class is perfect for native or non-native Spanish speakers, or for those who want exposure to the language.

Twilight Tales

Every Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. Kammi hosts a wonderful weekly story time for the whole family. All ages and pajamas welcome!

The mission of Twilight Tales story time is to bring families together in a shared love for books and reading, and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in which that love of literature can be fostered.

After School Adventures

This program explores different themes for children in first through sixth grades. Explore, expand knowledge, and have lots of fun all at the same time!

Activities are held on the main level of the library at 4:00 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Great Reads for Kids

A book club for kids ages 8-14. Read great books then meet as a group for a fun discussion and activities.

Great Reads meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m.

Family Night At the Library

Join us on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for Family Night! From  musical performances to games to movies, each month we will present an activity  for the whole family to enjoy together. 

Hora de Cuentos Para Familias/Spanish Story Time

Les invitamos a una hora de cuentos, música, actividades y manualidades para toda la familia. Vengan a distrutar de la cultura hispana y el amor por la lectura. 

Celebrate Spanish language and culture and the love of reading by bringing the entire family for an evening of Spanish stories, songs, activities, and crafts.

This class is held the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Young children begin the process of learning to read long before  they start school. The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program is designed to celebrate early learning and the fun of sharing stories.
