Place up to 15 books, DVDs or books on CD on hold through our library catalog. Give us 24 hours and we will have your items ready for pickup.



Place holds on the items you would like through the library catalog. Holds may also be placed by calling 801-785-3950. To place a hold, you will need your library card number. If  you need help accessing your account, please contact us.

If calling, please leave a clear, detailed message. We need your name, phone number and library card number and the titles of the items you wish to check out.

Give us at least 24 hours to gather the items you requested. We will check them out on your account and call you when your holds are ready. Please be aware that some items will not be available at the time. We will do our best to fill your requests.

When you come to pick up your items, come to the north entrance. Show your ID or library card through the window. Wait behind the line while employees bring items and place them on the table and walk back.



When can I pick up my items?

Curbside pickup is available Mondays through Thursdays from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

How many items can I check out at a time?

There is a limit of 15 items per vehicle per day.

Can I place items on hold and pick them up on the same day?

We need 24 hours to have time to pull the requests and prepare them for pickup.

If I’m sick, can I still pick up items via curbside pickup?

For the safety of staff and patrons, please do not schedule a curbside pickup if anyone in your household is ill.

Can I return the items I check out?

We are taking returns during curbside hours at our drive-up return box. Your returned items will be quarantined for 72 hours before they will be checked in. You will not receive any fines during this delay.

What safety precautions are you taking?

Library staff are wearing gloves and masks and are sanitizing constantly. We are doing everything possible to keep everyone healthy.
