Pleasant Grove Historic Commission

The Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission was established by the Mayor of Pleasant Grove and the City Council. The purpose of the commission is to preserve Pleasant Grove's history through documenting its stories and preserving its historic buildings and sites.

Pleasant Grove History Books

A three-volume history of Pleasant Grove was published in honor of the city’s sesquicentennial. They are available for sale at City Hall (70 South 100 East).  The price per volume is:

Historic Preservation Commission Members

The Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission is made up of volunteers from our city. “The Commission shall consist of … members having a demonstrated interest, competence, or knowledge in historic preservation.”

The Historic Preservation Commission meets the third Thursday of each month at 7 PM in the Public Safety Building. Meetings are open to the public. Agendas and meeting minutes are posted below.

The Historic Preservation Commission operates under the direction of the city’s Arts & Education department, with Sheri Britsch as Director. It also has one ex-officio city council member acting as advisor.
