Volunteer Opportunities
As the Library receives a high volume of Volunteer Applications, please allow between 2-3 weeks for application processing. Starting in 2024, applications may be sent to Pleasant Grove City's Human Resources Department for a mandatory background check. All volunteers are subject to departmental approval; after your application is approved, you will be contacted by a member of our staff to get started.
Teen Volunteer
Please note that one must be 12 years of age or older to volunteer at the Library. All volunteers under the age of 18 must complete and turn in a Parental/Guardian Consent Form with their application.
Teen volunteers are usually scheduled for 1 hour weekly shifts where you will be expected to clean books or other areas of the library and assist with other various tasks. If you would like to assist with just particular programs, please indicate this on the form.

Court Ordered Service
Please note that we only accept court appointed community service volunteers for service ordered by Pleasant Grove City. You may contact United Way for assistance in finding other opportunities: 801-374-2588.
