Pleasant Grove Fire Department is a professional, full-time fire department operating out of one centrally located fire station. It provides both fire suppression and paramedic level emergency medical care. PGFD takes pride in the services provided and is training continually to equal and even surpass service expectations.
PGFD has a fleet of three ambulances, one pumper fire engine, one heavy-duty tiller, a 100-foot ladder truck, a brush rig and other special use vehicles. Chief Andrew Engemann heads the department. Chase Gustman is the Deputy Fire Chief. Battalion Chief/Fire Marshal Jake Larsen leads the Fire Prevention Bureau. Each of the three duty shifts are supervised by an experienced Fire Captain.
Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED Certification
- 6pm-9pm
- Aug 10th, Oct 12th, Dec 14th
- Cost $55/person
- Maximum class size 12
- 14 years and older
This is a CPR certification class that covers cardiac arrest recognition, Adult/child/infant CPR, AED use, Adult/child/infant choking, and stroke recognition. The certification is good for 2 years.
Hands-only CPR and Stop the Bleed class
- 7pm-8:30pm
- July 13th, Sept 14th, Nov 9th
- Maximum class size 20
- 14 years and older
Burn Permit

Tour Information
Pleasant Grove Fire Department offers several opportunities for the citizens to interact with fire department personnel. Fire Station tours are a highlight of childhood and occasionally adulthood. We welcome everyone!
