The Program

We are excited to offer an additional program for babies/toddlers this year!
Rubber Ducky Readers (ages 0-36 months): Set a goal to TALK, SING, READ, WRITE, or PLAY each day with your child, using the suggested activities in the registration packet.

Word Wizards (ages 3-7): Set a goal for the number of minutes you will read each day (minimum 15 minutes) for 5 days per week.

Tracking: Track your reading on the paper reading log provided with registration. Mark one symbol for each day you meet your reading goal. Begin tracking on June 4.

Halfway Prize: Halfway prizes may be claimed starting June 25. When you have finished your June reading log, come to the library to receive a prize!

Final Prize: Final prizes may be claimed from July 23 – August 1. When you have completed your July reading log, come to the library to receive your final prize and come to the End of Summer Reading Party on August 1!

End of Summer Reading Party: Wednesday, August 1, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Exclusive party for those who signed up for the Summer Reading program. Water fun, games, and treats at the Pleasant Grove Veteran’s Memorial Park, 315 S. Locust Ave.

Summer Activities for Kids

Summer Reading Kick-Off: Tuesday, June 5, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. For children ages 3-12 and their families. Join us for FREE activities, a live band, and crafts. Grab a library passport at the Kick-Off and “rock around the world!” Pleasant Grove Veteran’s Memorial Park, 315 S. Locust Ave

Library Adventures: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 9:30, 10:30, or 11:30 for Word Wizards (ages 3-7 and Book Busters (ages 8-12). Age specific activities, stories and music.

Make and Take Crafts: Tuesday, July 3 - 9:30 - 12:00 (drop-in) and Wednesday, July 25 - 9:30- 12:00 (drop-in)

 Lego Club: Tuesdays 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for ages 5 – 12. Use your creativity to build whatever you like! Duplos and Legos provided.

 Monday Movies: 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the downstairs theater. Check dates, times and titles in your Summer Reading registration packet, or click here

Twilight Tales Family Story Time: Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
