Court
Special Notice
To protect the public and all court participants, the Utah Judiciary has implemented their Pandemic Response Plan to bring uniformity to the operation of the courts during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Utah Supreme Court and Utah Judicial Council issued an administrative order on March 21, 2020 that, among other things, instructs district court and justice court judges to suspend all civil and criminal jury trials until further notice. Therefore, the court will be closed to in-person hearings. Certain hearings may still take place remotely or telephonically. The court will continue to accept filings, by email, and will take payments over the phone or online. Please view the Utah State Courts Alerts and Information page for more details.
