Musical Theater Workshop - Broadway Bound
Youth, ages 6-9,
participating in these workshops will spend 6 months training in acting,
voice and dance, and will perform a Broadway musical review in February 2009. This is the perfect group for the beginning, young performer.
Broadway Bound rehearsals are held each Thursday. During this time, participants
attend two 45-minute classes: Musical Theater Dance and Vocal Performance. Both of these classes will also emphasis acting skills while performing. Youth
will be taught age-appropriate skills in each area. These skills
will be built upon weekly, and students will apply them immediately
as they prepare for February's performance. This is the perfect opportunity
to apply the skills taught in rehearsals and
give every student a chance to be a star.
Who Can
Participate: Youth ages 6-9

Dates and
Times: Classes and rehearsals will be held each Thursday
from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Lions Club (600 East Center Street). Classes
will begin on September 4, 2008 and continue through February 2009. (Performance dates are TBA).
Cost: Monthly tuition is $50. In addition, there is a non-refundable registration/materials fee of $40 that covers the cost of music, a t-shirt, and a rehearsal CD. Multiple family member discounts are available. (Each additional immediate family member is $40 per month.) |
Registration: Registration is currently closed for the 2008-09 workshops. Registration for next year will begin on July 1, 2009.
Please note
that we will only be accepting 40 students (20 students aged 6-7 and
20 students aged 8-9). Spots will
be filled in the order they are received. |
