Center Stage Youth Performers is proud to present the ever-popular, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Join the adventure as more than 80 of Utah Valley’s most talented youth, ages 7 through 18, recreate the the colorful world of Charles Schulz.
PERFORMANCE DATES AND TIMES:
April 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2009 at 7:00pm
The show will be performed at the Covey Center (425 West Center Street in Provo). Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at the door, through a cast member or online beginning in March 2009.
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is best noted as, “A typical day in the life of Charlie Brown” and it is just this. Your favorite comic strip brought to life, we join Charlie as he wakes up in the morning, eats his lunch, and stresses about Valentine’s Day and baseball games. Charlie is joined by several of his classic friends: Snoopy, Sally, Lucy, Schreoder, and Linus among others of his old friends.
The lessons Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang learn are as important today as they were when they were first drawn by Charles M. Schultz. Songs such as My Blanket and Me, The Kite, The Book Report, Suppertime and Happiness will surely leave your students dancing in the aisles.
Choreography for You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown is by Kristen Bradley and musical direction is by Jeremy Showgren. Lori Sanders directs.
