Class Descriptions:

Creative Drama:  Creative drama allows youth to develop their imagination and unlock their creativity in a non-threatening and non-competitive way.  Participants will explore characters, improvisation, pantomime, and more.
For youth ages 4-11.

Music Dance Theater: This camp provides a foundation for performing in musical theater.  Each session features age appropriate training in singing, choreography, character development, stage presence and more.
For youth ages 6-18.

Dance: This camp teaches the fundamentals of six different dances styles: hip hop, break dancing, jazz, tap, Broadway style, and swing.  Participants will study dance techniques through warm-ups, exercises, and choreographed pieces.
For youth ages 8-18.

Creative Movement:  This basic dance class encourages young participants to express their own creativity through movement while building confidence and self-esteem.  The entire class is about process, not product.
For youth ages 4-7.

Advanced Acting Workshop:  This camp is designed for youth that have had previous theater experience and are looking for a concentrated, intensive acting experience.  Time will be required outside of class to memorize.
For youth ages 12-18.

Creative Music:  Creative music allows young participants to develop a foundation and love for music and singing.  Participants will explore rhythm, diction, good singing habits and more.
For youth ages 6-7.

Vocal Workshop:  Participants will study voice in a group setting.  These sessions deal with basic vocal techniques, including good breathing habits, posture, diction, phrasing, and interpretation of song literature.
For youth ages 8-18.

Puppetry:  Explore the fascinating world of puppetry.  This hands-on class will spend a day creating a puppet (that the participant will get to keep) and a day creating an original puppet show.  All materials are provided as part of the class fee.
For ages 6-13.
