Professional Writers Series presents "Teach Yourself to Write--Middle Grade Panel of Awesomeness" on Thursday, August 21 at 7:00 p.m.

This free presentation features three well known Utah authors who will share their knowledge of the creative writing process.

 Peggy EddlemanPeggy Eddleman is the author of the middle grade post-apocalyptic adventure Sky Jumpers. She hangs out at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains in Utah with her three hilarious and fun kids (two sons and a daughter), and her incredibly supportive husband.

 

 

JScottSavageJ. Scott Savage is the author of the Farworld series and the Case File 13 middle grade series. He grew up in Northern California and now live in Utah with his wife and four children.

 

 

 

 JenniferANielsenJennifer A. Nielsen lives at the base of a very tall mountain in Northern Utah with her husband, three children, and a naughty puppy. She is the author of The False Prince and The Underworld Chronicles series.

A special Drop-In Story Time will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday, August 19-27 at 11:00 a.m. Preschool children will have a fun experience with stories, songs and finger-plays. All Pleasant Grove Children's programs are free with a valid Pleasant Grove Library card. There is no registration required for this special two week story time session. The themes are "ABC's" the first week and "123's" the second week. There will not be crafts but a fun worksheet will be sent home with the children.

Create a user account by clicking here to go to Zinio. Once you're there,  click "Create New Account" in the upper right hand corner. Use your library card number (including the 'P' and the 'space'), then enter your name and email, and create a password.

Once you've created a new account, you can search through the magazines and check them out. After checking out magazines, you can download and read them on your device through the free Zinio app. Search for the Zinio app in your device's store.
