Enter a photograph depicting a scene, character or cover design from a book you read this summer. Use of Photoshop and other photo editing programs ARE allowed.

Four winners will recieve 2 tickets to SLC Comic Con. The tickets are for Thursday, September 24. Tickets can be upgraded to Saturday for $15.

Entry forms are available beginning Monday, August 24, online or in the library.

Entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m., September 9. By submitting your photo, you agree the library has permission to display your work on social media, in the library, etc.

Preschool Story Time

Preschool Story Time is held Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00, 11:00 and 1:00 in the lower level of the library. Stories, songs, finger plays and crafts support early literacy and are designed for children 3 to 6 years of age. This program runs in six-week segments and lasts approximately 40 minutes. This class is free but requires registration. The theme for this session is "Once Upon a Time" This class runs from September 1 through Oct 6.

Wee Read

Wee Read is a class for children, eighteen months to three years. Encourage reading development with stories, fingerplays and music with this fun program.  This class is held on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., and lasts roughly 20 minutes, with time after for parents to read with their little ones. This class runs from September 3 through October 8. Registration is required.

Rhythm and Song

Rhythm and Song, a music program for toddlers age 2-5, will meet on Mondays at 10 and 11 a.m. beginning September 14. Join us for approximately 30 minutes of music and movement activities using simple rhythm instruments. This is a free class but registration is required. A 9:00 a.m. class has been added.

Spanish Story Time

Join us every Friday morning at 10:30 in the lower level of the library for a lively 40 minutes of stories, songs, and finger plays in Spanish and English. This program is for kids who are 18 months to 6 years old and their caregivers. A simple craft is included each week. (No registration is required)

Twilight Tales

Twilight Tales is a family story time. This program lasts approximately thirty minutes and is held downstairs every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m (No registration is required)

Utah State University Extension, in partnership with Pleasant Grove City Library, will be offering a FREE “Parenting the Love and Logic Way™” workshop at the Pleasant Grove City Library. 

This is a 3 week course series held Wednesday evenings on September 2nd, September 9th, and September 16th from 6:30-8:45pm.  (Interested participants must be available to attend all three evenings.) All course materials will be provided.
