Relax and watch Superman: Man of Steel while enjoying popcorn and pop! (Man of Steel is rated PG-13 and has a runtime of 2 hours and 23 minutes.) We will also have the Xboxes out! Also, remember that you can turn in your Gamecard starting July 1. Every teen who completes a Gamecard will get a prize packet and will be entered into the drawing for $50 gift cards. You can only complete the Gamecard once. All gamecards must be turned in before July 31.

If you have not started yours yet, don't worry, there is still time. Download your Gamecard here and get reading!

Bring your favorite stuffed animal between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. We'll play games and dress your animal in superhero attire. Afterwards, your stuffed animal is invited to a sleepover at the library. Please pick them up on Monday, July 13.

Register Online Now!

Children ages 3-12 are invited to join our PGCL summer reading program entitled "Every Hero Has a Story!" The summer reading program offers children and their families the opportunity to  share reading time together, attend special programs, and earn prizes while keeping track of their reading successes.

The Children’s Program is open to children ages 3-10. Registration is available online, by telephone, or at the library. Due to space constraints class sizes are limited. Choose a time and day to attend: Tuesday or Wednesday, 10:00 am, 11:30 am, or 1:00 pm.


The “Tweens” program is for youth ages 10-12. They meet each Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.


The Teen Program is for teens in, or going into, jr. high and high school. Teens meet every other Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Every teen who completes a Gamecard will get a prize packet and will be entered into the drawing for $50 gift cards.Teens can also register online for a free beginner's computer programming class.

Lego Club is for ages 6 and older. They will meet each Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.

Children's Theater Program meets each Thursday, June 4th to July 23rd, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  This program is for children in kindergarten through 6 grade. Click here for more information and registration.

The library offers a variety of programs and contests all summer, so pick up a calendar of events or check the website as often as possible, or “like” us on Facebook to get the most up-to-date information!

Classes begin the week of June 8th and end July 27th. The prize booth will close on August 1st.

Come for free Monday Movies at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm in the downstairs theater. Check the dates and titles on the website or pick up a flyer at the front desk. The movies will be first come first seated and the doors will open 15 minutes before the show.
